What is your definition of success?
A few years ago, I was caught off guard by this question during a workshop I attended.
It went something like, “What does it take to achieve success in your life, as you define it?”
Boom!
In that moment, I found myself thinking, “What does truly defines success for me, and why haven’t I given that question more consideration? Whose version of success have I been striving for?”
So I’m dropping it here for you.
It gets to be whatever you want.
My authentic metrics of success include.
Time and space to celebrate life with my family.
Putting my kids to bed every night.
Getting in the ocean daily.
Experiencing supreme health.
Making music.
Having a buffed out bank account.
Serving my community with impact.
Laughing with my partner every day.
Reflecting on your own definitions of success is an important step towards living authentically and pursuing fulfilment on your own terms.
Take a moment to consider what success means to you and what it encompasses – the very essence that drives your efforts.
