How to Escape the Thought Spiral

What if… you didn’t stay stuck in your head this time?

This one’s for anyone who knows the spiral - overthinking, second guessing, running the same loop over and over.

That loop disconnects you from your instincts, from your body, from taking action.

Here’s a 3-step shift that might help:

1. Name what’s really going on. Beneath every “what if” is usually a fear. Say it out loud. Give it less power.

2. Shift from “what if” to “what now.” Ask: What’s one small action I can take right now? Not perfect - just real.

3. Anchor it with a mantra. Something simple you can return to throughout the day:

“Keep going.”

“One step at a time.”

“I’m learning on the fly.”

You’re not stuck. You’re just in motion you haven’t felt yet.
